Who This Is For

Built for anyone serious about legal tech.

This program is for legal professionals and law students who want to go beyond using AI tools — and start building them. If you work in or study law and want to develop real technical fluency, this is for you.

In-House Counsel

Build intake forms, contract review assistants, and policy Q&A tools for your team — without an IT budget.

Compliance Officers

Automate checklist generation, risk flagging, and regulatory monitoring workflows using AI.

Legal Ops Professionals

Prototype tools that reduce manual work without waiting for vendor solutions or developer resources.

Law Students

Get ahead of the curve before you enter practice. Build tools that demonstrate technical fluency to future employers.

Private Practice Lawyers

Build client-facing tools and internal workflow aids that differentiate your practice.

Curriculum

Four sessions. One working tool.

Four Saturday mornings, each building directly on the last. By the end you will have designed, built, and deployed an AI-powered legal tool of your own.

01

Prompt Engineering for Legal Work

How large language models actually work — just enough theory to use them well. Prompt structure, system prompts, output control, and hallucination management. All exercises use real legal scenarios: contract review, clause drafting, risk identification. You leave with a personal prompt library you will use in every subsequent session.

02

Introduction to No-Code AI Workflows + Your First Legal Pipeline

What an API is, and why it matters for builders. Introduction to the no-code platform used in this program as an environment for connecting to Claude. Walk through a provided starter template, understand its components, and run your first automated legal workflow — paste a contract clause, receive a risk flag and plain-language explanation.

03

Build Your Tool

Extend the Session 2 template into a tool tailored to your own practice. Choose a use case — contract checklist generator, NDA review assistant, legal intake form, policy Q&A — and build it. The instructor works through the room. You leave with a functional, customized AI tool.

Deploy, Present, and Evaluate

Polish your tool and deploy it. Each participant presents — what the tool does, what legal problem it solves, what they would build next. Peer feedback. The session closes with a practical framework for evaluating AI output quality in professional contexts.

Program Series

A progressive four-part series.

Each bootcamp builds on the last. Complete all four and you have a full legal engineering toolkit — from single-document review to autonomous AI agents.

Part 1 · Now Open

Foundation

Prompting discipline + no-code workflow basics. Build and deploy an NDA review assistant. The entry point for the series.

Part 2 · Coming Soon

Workflows

Multi-step automation, conditional logic, form interfaces. Build a legal intake system with intelligent routing.

Part 3 · Coming Soon

Data & Integration

Connect your tools to live data sources — regulatory databases, court filings, contract repositories. Build a scheduled monitoring tool that surfaces relevant updates automatically.

Part 4 · Coming Soon

Agents

Go beyond tools that respond to a single input. Build AI agents that reason, plan, and act autonomously — retrieving information, making decisions, and executing multi-step legal tasks with minimal human intervention.

Parts 2–4 are open to graduates of the preceding bootcamp. Each part runs as a standalone monthly cohort.
